It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen M Spain of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 3, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter S. Ridener and Vina Bushnell Ridener; and her siblings, Vivian West, Charles Ridener and Harold West.

She is survived by: her husband Claud Spain; her children, Margaret Moore of Fort Smith, Tammy Baker (Darren) of Fort Smith, Ronald Gaunt (Mary Alane) of Hernando, MS. and Roger Gaunt (Valerie) of Fort Smith; her stepchildren, Tena Phillips of Booneville and Danny Spain of Booneville; and her grandchildren, Brian, Cory, Stacy, Shanna, Ryan, Laura, Rachel, Rebecca, Meranda, Makala, Keisha and Keith. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren along with numerous extended friends.
