With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gumaro Serafin Gonzalez of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juvenal Gonzalez and Maria Meza; and his wife Maria Elena Ceja. He is survived by: his children, Refugio, Juvenal, Serafin, Maria and Guadalupe Gonzalez; and his siblings, Pepe, Chava, Benjamin, Gil, Berta, Elena and Ofelia Gonzalez. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Chapel - Fort Smith (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Saint Boniface Church (1820 N B St, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
