She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Linda Lininger (Dale) of Buda, TX and Mark Whittenberg (Lisa) of Fort Smith; her grandchildren, Scott Whittenberg (Amanda) and Laura Skelton (Neal); her great grandchild Liam Skelton of Northwest Arkansas; her sister Thelma Carter of Fort Smith; her husband William Whittenberg (Bill); her siblings, Wanda Gregg and Leo Cristee; and her parents, George Cristee and Edna Cristee. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or First Baptist Church Fort Smith.
