He is also survived by three grandchildren.

“I just now heard of his passing from this life. I am saddened by his demise, such a young life. The last time I saw Gerald at Baptist Med Center about a year ago; we had a nice though brief visit in the hallway catching up on each other’s lives. He was a great co - worker and so easy to talk to. You will be missed Gerald.”
