He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Staton, Sr. and Mary Ellen Jones; and his stepfather Julius Jones. He is survived by: his wife Maurita; his children, Greg Staton (Becky) and Cindy Turner (Dan); his sister Ann Newman (Jim); his grandchildren, Abby Dean (Joey), Sydney Staton, Cole Turner, Cate Turner and Dylan Snow (Candace); and his great grandchild Daxton Snow.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Harvest Time Church (3100 Briarcliff Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72908). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
