It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaylord M. Armstrong of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Casnor Armstrong and Inez Armstrong; and his sister Mary Joyce Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Velda; his children, Lisa O'Neill (Mic) of Waterloo, Julie Stroh McGinnis (Mark) of Fort Smith and Joseph M. Armstrong (Liz) of Fort Smith; his brother Virgil Armstrong (Alice) of Fort Smith; his grandchildren, Leigh Stroh Manus (Eric), Tyler Michael Armstrong, Lauren Ann O'Neill, Ellis Elizabeth Armstrong, Connor John O'Neill (Antonia), Riley Jo O'Neill and Walker Ann Armstrong; and his great grandchildren, Layne Ray Bolton, Macie Brae and Adelyn Grace Manus.
