She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Dixon and Gertrude Dixon; her husband Walter Wade Goforth; her former husband W. E. Dunn; and her siblings, Dorothy House, Ora Lee Taylor and Janet Goforth.

She is survived by: her sister Joyce Branham; her children, Brenda Sharum (Don) and Mark Goforth (Paula); and her grandchildren, Amanda Coco (Kipp), Erika Cameron (Dakota Brissey), Jessika Goforth (Steven Sellers) and Emily Summers (Clinton). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
