He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Taylor and Birdie Taylor (Ratliff); his wife Sharon; his daughters, Connie Taylor of Fort Smith, Teresa Foxworthy (Ivan) of Fort Smith and Rebecca Taylor of San Antonio, TX; his stepchildren, Kelly Reeves of Gans, OK and David Pearson of Seattle, WA; and his sister Arlene Orton. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
