It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances Virginia Speer Williams in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde Williams; her children, Tommy Williams and Susie Gibson; and her grandson Ben Gibson. She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn (Bill Wellons); her children-in-law, Keith (Jill Gibson) and Sandra Williams of Dickson; her grandchildren, Paul, Kristy Williams, Bill, Hillary Wellons, Fred Wood, Sarah Baker Wellons, Amy, Ryan Tharp, Allison Gibson and Leah Gibson; and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Grace Wood, William Wood, David Wood, Jacob Wood, Lily Wellons, Emma Wellons, Witt Wellons, Noah Wellons, Hallie Wellons, Anna Wellons, Katie Wellons, Lucas Gibson, Caroline Gibson, Elliott Tharp, Zadie Tharp, Lillian Tharp, Bryce Williams and Trevor Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“Oh what a treasure Mrs Frances was to all who knew her! This tiny spark of a women will leave a very large hole in the hearts of all who knew & loved her. I’m so sorry the world has lost such a rare treasure but she is Heaven’s gain. We became acquainted through our mutual friend Janell while at Methodist. It was my delight to deliver frozen yogurt to her but more so the visit each delivery would bring if I caught her home. She didn’t slow down much. I pray comfort for all who loved her. 💗SuzyF”
