He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Kenneth and Virginia Lee Barnes (Grubb); and his wife Helen Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Barnes Dunn (Scott Bailey) of Ashville, NC and Todd Barnes (Amy) of Mount Crested Butte, CO; his sister Susan Steen (Ernie) of Parkville, MO; and his grandchildren, Emma Rose Barnes, Jack Cardin Barnes and William Barnes Dunn.
