He is survived by: his children, Olivia Montes Flores (Ignacio) of Fort Smith, Joel Montes (Magdalena) of Fort Smith, Merced Montes (Alicia) of Everest, KS, Everardo Montes, Jr. (Olga) of Valley Falls, KS, Antonio Montes (Vanessa) of Villa Lopez, Chihuahua and Mexico; and his sister Ines Montes Soto (Mexico) of Valle. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
