He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Francis and Rosa Bell Mathews (Kesner); and his siblings, Richard Mathews and Louella Kamerman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Mathews; his children, Eddie Mathews of Luther, OK, Jerry Mathews of Fort Smith and Jill Harris of Ozark; and his siblings, Charles Mathews of Morrilton, Farrel Mathews of Bella Vesta, Genese Minor of White Haven, MS and Mary Ramsey of Fort Smith. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
