He is survived by: his wife Melody Deaton (McCormick); his children, Kasey of Fort Smith, Lacey Deaton of Fort Smith, Stacey Ocampo of Van Buren, Sarah Deaton of Oregon and Camron Long of Fort Smith; his brothers, Bill Deaton of Prairie Grove and Tim Deaton of Mulberry; and his grandchildren, Adrian, Isaiah, Nadalynn Ocampo, Mya Thomas (Elijah), Braxton and Braylee Shepard.
