He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George and Robbie McLaughlin; his great-grandparents, Kie and Luna McLaughlin; his grandparents, Charles, Jean Dooley and Joe Applegate; his great-grandparents, Leo, Mary Brewer, R. L. and Sarah Parrish; his aunt JoAnn Applegate; his uncle Leo Applegate; his cousin Mark; and his friend Bryant Engles.
He is survived by: his son Blake Applegate; his parents, Ted Applegate and Mary Applegate of Bloomer; his sister Natalie Janise (David) of Dallas, Texas; his uncles, Jim Dooley (Victoria) of Owasso and Bill Dooley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his nieces and nephews, Caitlin, Keely, Hunter and Brayden; his cousins, Adrianna, Nicky and Charlie; his friends, Mark Barger and Brendon Dedmon; his close friends, Jeff, Kathy "Sis" Albanese and Paul Whynot; his friend Jenn Mann; and also Donnie Smith.
Ed contributed monthly to the ASPCA, Homeless Veterans of Arkansas and Humane Society of U.S., since our local shelter closed, you may find one if anyone wishes to donate in Ed's memory.
