He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riley and Clara Standridge Cagle; his wife Goldie Williams Cagle; and his siblings, Mildred Nordin and Freddie Cagle.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Cagle Carter of Fort Smith and Tammy Cagle (Mike Schmiedeke) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandsons, Chris Carter (Tama) of Magnolia and Brad Carter of Fort Smith; his great grandchildren, Kalyn Carter (Bryce Brodersen) of Oklahoma City and Mattie Carter of Magnolia; and his sister Norma Ross of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
