It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Abbott of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Poteau, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 24, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dero W. Abbott and Lois Abbott (Addison); his wife Beatrice Abbott; his stepdaughter JoAnn DeHart; his siblings, Hank, Charlie, Sam Abbott and Bonnie Allen; his grandson Joe Schoening; and his great grandchild Joe Schoening, Jr..
He is survived by: his sisters, Reba Abbott of Fort Smith and Dora Abbott Escobar of Fort Smith; his stepson-in-law Larry DeHart of Van Buren; and his grandchildren, David Schoening of Van Buren, Diana Kulak (Mark) of Cedarville, AR, Pamela Vaughn of Van Buren and Sandra Murphy (Kenneth) of Cedarville. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
