He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Bean (Vanhuss) and Lymond D. Bean; and his siblings, Glenda, Rosemary, Donna, Terry and Bob.

He is survived by: his children, Danna Forrester (Jeff), LaDonna Ford (Dr. David Ford), Daniel Bean of Bennettsville, SC, David Bean (Deborah) and Bill Bean (Tammie); his grandchildren, Jeremy Bean, Lauren Bean, Terri Wilson, Andrew Forrester, Brynna Meade, Sydney Ford, Cara Ford, Sean Bean and Ella Ford; and his brother Jon Bean of Florida. He is also survived by Other relatives and friends.
