He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Brooks (Johnson) and Elmer Edward "Shorty" Brooks; his wife Sandra June Brooks (Butcher); and his brother Rodney Brooks. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Seth Clark, Katrin of Tahlequah, OK, Kensey Richards, Daniel of Roland, OK and Audrey Brooks of Greenbrier, AR. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Freewill Baptist Church building fund in Muldrow, OK.
