He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Lee Rye, Sr. and Ruth Marie Rye (Parker); and his siblings, Aubrey Lee, Jr., Reece Benjamin, Carlos, Quince, Bill, Betty and Velma.
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa M. Rye of Windcrest, Janelda L. Winters of Mountainburg and Benjamin Skrzynski; his siblings, Loretta Rye Knox, Dwight Rye, Kenneth Rye and Joe Dan Rye; and his grandchildren, Stephen Travis Walpole of Fort Smith, Aaronessa Sanchez of Fort Worth, Ruth Pfeffer of San Antonio, Vincent Winters of Mountainburg, Troi Winters of Fort Smith and Krystina Rodriguez of Winslow. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
