It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Taake of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Wall and Gladys Wall (Nelson); her husband Robert D. Taake; her sons, Bob Taake and Jeff Taake (Kerri) of Fort Smith; her grandchildren, B. J. Taake of Fort Smith, Tyler Taake (McKenzie) of Springdale, Chase Taake (Summer) of Fort Smith, Emillie Vick (Captilles) of Fort Smith, Britney Miller (Cliff) of Hackett, Kristey Taake of Fort Smith and Christopher Taake (Jessica) of Lowell, AR; her great grandchildren, Branson, Penelope, Mila, Turner Taake, Cappy, Madilynn, Liam Vick and Walker Miller; and her pet Miss Kitty.
