It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris June Woodard (Fort Smith, Arkansas), who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Larry Woodard of Fort Smith, AR; her children, Brandy Lindsey (Marc) of Lavaca, AR, Lance Woodard (Lisa) of Fayetteville, AR and Larry Woodard, Jr. of Fort Smith, AR; her grandchildren, Davis Lindsey, AC Woodard of Fayetteville, AR, Whitney Taylor Woodard of McKinney, TX, Brandon Grissman (Anastassia) of Hampton, VA and Tyler Grissman of Fort Smith, AR; her sisters, Louise Nelson (Jim) of Waldron, AR, Gina Newman (Junior) of Waldron, AR, Sandy Latham (Jerry Baker) of Waldron, AR, Shirley Phillips of Waldron, AR, Brenda Hayes (Keith) of Alma, AR and Betty Phillips (Steve Bailey) of Greenwood, AR; her brother-in-law Phil Woodard (Anita) of Fort Smith, AR; and her pet Lulu. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
