With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Edward Matlock of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Gideon, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland "Doc" Matlock and Mary Matlock; and his siblings, Raymond, JD, Marvin, Vivian and Alice.
He is survived by: his stepson Chad Frazier (Theresa) of Fort Smith, AR; his son Travis (Jeanine) of Bentonville, AR; his grandchildren, Katelyn and Blake Leisenring; his great grandchildren, Xavier and Barrett Leisenring; his grandchildren, Emily Matlock, Alexis Matlock and Mason Matlock; his great grandchild Grant of Fort Smith, AR; his stepgrandchildren, Max Frazier and Jett Frazier; his sister Gerelene Kilgore; and also, Caylinn Lange, Logan Matlock, Landon Matlock, Laya Matlock, Ty (Meagan) of Fort Smith, AR and Haven Matlock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Fort Smith Boys and Girls Club in his memory.
