He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Leakey and Eunice Leakey (Swafford); his sons, Kenny Leakey and Donald Ferrari; and his siblings, Frank, Joe Wayne Evans, Jackie Dale and Gracie Reinschmiedt.
He is survived by: his wife Shelbia; his children, Samantha Fillyaw of Van Buren, Angela Leakey of Van Buren, Laura Leigh Warstler of Fort Smith, Anthony Ferrari of Kibler, Denver Ferrari of Van Buren and Bruce Leakey of Cecil; and his siblings, Flora Ellen Cole of Fort Smith, Richard Leakey of Dyer, Donnie Evans of Rudy and Ides Evans of Alma. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
