He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Lee and Lois Raye Spradling of Hartford, Arkansas.; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Stanfill, Virgil Caudle, Gary Blythe, Bill Stanfill and James Bass; and his nephew Terry Stanfill.

He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Caudle Spradling; his sister Mary Bass of Little Rock; his sister-in-law Shirley Blythe of Waldron; his nephews, Larry Stanfill (Mary) of Greenwood, Greg Stanfill of Lowell, Steve Bunting (Laurie) of Waldron and Leigh Bass (Shawn) of West Fork; his niece Cheryl Bass Williams (Paul) of Little Rock; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Leigh Bass, Steve Bunting, Troy Douglas, Damon Elkins, Greg Stanfill, Larry Stanfill and Paul Williams.
