Dell L. Nelson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dell L. Nelson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Van Buren, Arkansas, who passed away on July 19, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Nelson and Minta Shibley Nelson; and his son David Green. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Cathy Nelson of Fort Smith, Beth Nelson (Pascal Lefevre) of Fort Smith, Jody Wein of Lavaca and Jim Green (Susan) of Ft. Collins, CO.; his daughter-in-law Majetta Green of Fort Smith; and his grandchildren, Matthew Tumlison, Jared Tumlison (Brandi), Alex Nelson, Kris Wein (Amy), Katie Dunn (Joseph), Kari Wein, Kevin Wein (Ashlee), Michelle Smith (Kurt) and Jon Green (Lauren). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
