He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Evelyn; his children, Ashley Hixson (Derrick) of Orlando, Ryan Wald of Fort Smith, Courtney Wald of Denver and Stephany Wald of Dallas, Texas; his grandchildren, Emmabelle and Daniel Hixson; and his siblings, Joseph S. Wald (Nancy) of Fort Smith, LaBeth Riggs (Steven) of Fort Smith, Janet Warren (Jim) of West Memphis and Tom Wald (Karen) of Scranton. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
