He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, H. Clyde Johnston and Gertrude Johnston; his wife Sally Boerner Johnston; his daughter Jackie Cravens; his granddaughter Adrienne Shaunfield; his children, Clyde, Jr. (Mamie), Ann Howells (Bob), Janice Donaubauer (Allyn) and Cindy McNally (Tim); his son-in-law Sparks Cravens; his grandchildren, Emily Johnston, Rob Shaunfield, Rachel Siddall, Matt McNally, Will McNally, Caroline Cravens, Duncan Cravens, Blake Donaubauer (Teahnna) and Natalie Hedrick (Chris); and his great grandchildren, River Shaunfield, Spring Shaunfield, Jane Siddall, Milo Mandarino, Annalee Mandarino, Blue Donaubauer and Eleanor Donaubauer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church where he was a longtime member.
