With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cletus Geels in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bernard Geels and Crescence Christine Geels (Wewers); his wife Betty Jo Geels (Zimmer); his son B. Leo Geels; his siblings, Theresa Geels, Ernestine Ahrns, Betsy Schluterman, Leo Geels, Bill Geels, Ray Geels, Bon Geels and Butch Geels; and his son-in-law Randall Churchman.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Churchman of Paris, Michelle Duff (Gary) of Lamar, Susan Sullivan (Randal), Amanda Geels of Scranton, Thomas Geels of Scranton, George Geels (Erika) of Lamar and Mark Geels (Angela) of Perryville. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and several other family members and friends.
