Chester Lee Bean Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Lee Bean (Fort Smith, Arkansas), born in Hartman, Arkansas, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, H. E. Bean and Harriet Moore Bean; his sisters, Juanita Scott and Joyce Koontz; and his former wife Betty June Porter Bean.

He is survived by: his wife Nita Helms Bean; his children, Barbara Newman (Larry Joe), Jim Bean (Sharon), Billy Helms (Donna) and Jack Helms (Sharon); and his grandchildren, Brian Newman (Janet), Julie Simpson (Eric), Mark Bean (Samuela), James Bean (Melissa), Lacy Bean (Marcus Hedlund), Brett Helms, Audra Pogue (Jimmy), Ginger Schmitt (Greg) and Kyrstal Cadelli (Chris). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
