He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Poole and Erma Poole (Horton); and his sister Betty Martin. He is survived by: his sons, David Poole, Chuck Poole-Sikes, Richard Tate II and Carter Tate; and his siblings, Joan Beshears, Ruth Bennett, Ronnie Brown and James Poole. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
