It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol A. Bateman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on August 5, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Zahn Jr. and Gladys Mae Linden Zahn; and her husband Ronnie Bateman. She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Ann Sadler (Pedro), Rhonda Sanford (Richard), Karen Hill (Ricky) and Karrie Combs (Justin); her grandchildren, Drew Sadler (Becky), Kayla Sanford (Cory), Brooks Sanford, Madison Hill, Linden, Blakelyn Combs and John Pierce; and her great grandchildren, Jett, Piper Sadler, Ashton and Hudson Locklear.
