He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Tillery and Mamie Black Tillery; his wife Edith; his stepson Tim Jones; and his grandson Brandon Wayne Young.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Bradshaw of Fort Smith, AR and Carl Tillery, Jr.; his granddaughters, Melanie Bradshaw and Carol Lockhart; and his sister Betty Taylor of Muscle Shoals, AL.. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
