He is survived by: his children, James Jeffers of Fort Smith, AR. and Jane Schuster of Fort Smith, AR.; his granddaughters, Sheila Van Matre (Schuster) and Lauren Jeffers; his great grandchild Grayson Boggs; his nieces, Kathy Lynch and Cindy Carpenter of Indiana; and his nephew Jimmy of Indiana. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
