He is survived by: his wife Billie Berna; his children, LeAnn Wallace of Alma and Robert Berna of Dyer; his stepchildren, Misty Jones of Michigan, Cheryl Howe of Fort Smith, Veronica Kim Peña of Van Buren and Mark Jordan of Alma; and his siblings, Betty Taylor, Linda Pittser Kollo, Judy Kirkham, Beverly Raper and John Berna. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.
