He was predeceased by: his parents, A. G. Harper and Necie Harper (Eddington); his parents-in-law, Wyman and Bernice Whittington; his brother-in-law Jim Whittington; and his son Stephen Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Whittington; his daughter Donna Harper of Magnolia, AR; his cousins, Jay Young (Susan) of Fort Smith and Barbara Percosan of Santa Rosa; and his close friend Gary Pyle (Kathy) of Magnolia.
