He was predeceased by: his parents, Teresa Goodwin and Robert Goodwin; and his siblings, Patsy, Honey and Frank Goodwin.
He is survived by: his wife Shelva; his children, Bryan "Van" Goodwin (Sara) and Tina Meek (Roger); his grandchildren, Stephen Meek (Gresham), Philip Meek (Madi), Sarah Jane Appleton (Barrett), Alexander "Van" Goodwin, Jackson Goodwin and Anastasia Goodwin; his great grandchildren, Kaki Meek, Hodges Meek, Pippa Meek and Gardner "Van" Meek; his sister Joann Edwards; and his sister-in-law Shirley Mathews.
