It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Mark Brandenburg of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Bobby leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parent Ruby Juanita Starr (Covert); his stepfather Ed Starr; and his siblings, Jimmy Brandenburg and Karen Fritchie. He is survived by: his wife Mary Michelle Brandenburg (Bivens); his sons, Zachary Mark Brandenburg of Fort Smith and Hunter Luke Brandenburg of Fort Smith; his grandson Talon Brandenburg; and his siblings, Herbert Brandenburg and Doris Skurdahl. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Chapel (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
