With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill C. Covey (Fort Smith, Arkansas), who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bill departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bill may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bill leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Neil, Deborah, Mark and Kevin. He was also cherished by children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Smith National Cemetery (522 Garland Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
