Betty West McGee Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty West McGee of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Osage, Iowa, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Clayton and Bertha Matilda Clayton (Popp); her husbands, Robert "Pete" West and Marshall "Mac" McGee; her siblings, Mary Talburt, Joann Ice, Dorothy Clayton, Robert and Donald Clayton; and her stepdaughter Kathleen Lease (Steve).

She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Burks (Richie) of Southlake, TX and Lynda Burton (Steve) of Fort Smith; her grandson Ryan Burks of Denton, TX; her sister-in-law Dorene Clayton; her stepchildren, Patrick McGee (Dede), Terry Rath (Jeff) and Jeannie Horan; and her stepson-in-law Matt Horan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren, other family, and many dear friends.
