Betty Jo Stutts Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Stutts (Fort Smith, Arkansas), who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Chester "Poppy" Stutts; and her parents, Florence McAlister and Guy McAlister. She is survived by: her children, Louis Stutts (Anna) of Fort Smith and Ellen Sullivan (Jack); her grandchildren, Jamie Himes (Bryant), Marshall Stutts, Sarah Stutts-Comeaux (Gil), Jenny Wilkinson and Michael Stutts; her great grandchildren, Natalie Turner and Ella Comeaux; and her brother George McAlister (Martha) of Fort Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Project Compassion or The Golden Rule Clothes Closet, both of Fort Smith.
