She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Darrell Cox, Sr. and Mary Christine Cox (Seitter); her husband T. J. Burt; her son Thomas Richard Burt; her siblings, Albert Darrell Cox, Jr. and Mary Christine Joyner; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Dick and Elaine Burt.
She is survived by: her niece Susan Cox Miller (John) of Punta Gorda, Florida; her nephews, James Darrell Cox (Lesa) of Apex, Darrell Joyner (Joy) of Greenville, Edgar Joyner (Susan) of Sumter and Dr. Bill Burt (Teresa) of Springdale, Arkansas; and her friend Vicki Chamlee of Fort Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Charleston Building Fund or the University of Arkansas Fort Smith Nursing School Scholarship Fund.
