It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Shipman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond C. Shipman. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Shipman of Eufaula, OK and Kenneth Shipman of Eufaula, OK; her brother Hank Sauerland of Eufaula; and her nephew Art Southerland of Van Buren. She is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, the graveside service will be private at the Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
