She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Seaman and Minnie Mae Seaman; her son Orland Gaithe, Jr.; and her siblings, Everett "Bud" Seaman, Jr. and Rosemary Chase.
She is survived by: her sons, Leon Gaithe (Jackie), Mark Gaithe (Kari) and David Gaithe (Larry); and her sister Betty Luper (Dale). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
