She was predeceased by: her son Devin Michael Hancox; her grandparents, Eugene Ibison Sr., Lorenzo and Viola Nelson; and her stepmother Sandy Battles.
She is survived by: her parents, Garland Nelson I of Fort Smith and Gail Nelson of Hackett; her grandmother Evelyn Ibison of Hackett; and her siblings, Angela Knight of Hackett, Len Montgomery of Van Buren, Geoff, Garland Nelson II of Hackett and Dustin Nelson of Fort Smith. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and several nieces, nephews, and a great niece, and great nephews.
