He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Roger McGee and Lula Mae Fagin McGee; his wife Margaret Sue Davis; and his sisters, Maurice'Sissy'Roberts and Shirley Ann Littleton.
He is survived by: his children, Walter R. McGee III of Forrest City and Karen Annette Rolland of Widener; his stepchildren, Terry Reynolds Moore of Forrest City, Carla Sue Taylor of Hernando and Denessa Walters of Houlka; his siblings, Charles Lee McGee of Mountain View, Mike McGee of Palestine, Alice Long of Palestine and Barbara Gerlach of Holly Grove; his grandchildren, Amanda, Dustin, Walter R. IV, Megan, Haley and Kendall Rose; his stepdaughter Sheila Renea Moore; his grandchild Lauren Elizabeth Rolland; and his great grandchildren, Blu Avan Rolland, Leigha Eleain Box and Addison Faye Box. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stevens Funeral Home (220 N Washington St, Forrest City, AR 72335). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
