It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhydonia Anderson of Forrest City, Arkansas, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Rhydonia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rhydonia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rhydonia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Holt and Ruth Holt (Howard). She is survived by: her husband Virgil Paul Anderson of Forrest City, AR; and her siblings, Robert Holt (Beth) of Georgetown, SC, Daniel Holt (Barbara) of Murfreesboro, TN, Charlotte McIntyre (Monty) of Ravenswood, WV, Sharon Chesnut (Mark) of Effingham, IL and Rhyta Hooks of St. Elmo, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301).
