She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Tandy Malone Bratton and Jane Marie Bratton (Tubot); and her siblings, Tony Bratton, Etta Leisure, Sally Smith and Frances Cooper.

She is survived by: her children, Barry Leon Childers (Jeanna Lynn) of Forrest City, Timothy Wayne Childers of Forrest City and Marcia Holmes (Joseph) of Gastonia; and her brothers, Dudley Bratton and Donald Bratton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
