He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bumgarner and Willie Lee Bumgarner (Turner); his daughters, Ricki Person and Charlotte Bumgarner; and his sisters, Verta Mae Wood, Josephine Harvey, Wylodean Smith, Dorothy Bumgarner and Pauline Wood.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Bumgarner of Forrest City and Phil Bumgarner (Becky) of Forrest City; and his grandchildren, Jeff Bumgarner, Beth Vaccaro, Bridget Brown, Lori Walkenbach and Ericka Peaks. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
