We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2024, at the age of 89, Johnie Faye Hurt of Forrest City, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Johnie Faye is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Johnie Faye's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Good and Sarah Nutt Good; her husband Ray Hurt Sr.; and her son Ray Hurt Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Myers (Keith) of Forrest City and Madeline Parker (Randy) of Cave City; and her siblings, Sunshine Boles of Missouri and Carlyle Good of Florida. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are to be made to the Good Hope Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 2961, Forrest City, Arkansas, 72336.
