He is survived by: his spouse Mickie Raines; his children, Mary Jo Ford (Brent) of Tulsa and John Paul Poindexter (Barley) of Fort Smith; his stepdaughter Bethny Black (Shane) of Aurora; and his siblings, Cletis Poindexter, Barbara King and Robbie Harbin. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
